Launching an internet marketing firm in 2002 wired Jeff Nelson for success in digital communication. It also made the solutions architect an overnight sensation in search-engine optimization.
Nelson and his business partner, James Damon, launched Anduro Marketing just as companies began to see the value in listing their sites at the top of the search-engine pages. Search-engine optimization puts sites at or near the top of Google and Yahoo pages. Ultimately, these sites are seen by more internet users. If the site sells a product or service, the sales of the brand tend to be higher.
“No one was doing search-engine optimization (SEO) when we started Anduro Marketing,” says Nelson of his early success. “Right off the bat we landed clients like Dell, H&R Block, Thomson Reuters and Intel.”
Aside from SEO and internet marketing, Nelson and Damon began offering a pay-per-click (cost-per-click) service. Touted as one of the fastest ways to direct traffic to social-media and web sites, advertisers earn revenue when viewers click on their social-media advertisments.
Helping businesses grow rocketed Anduro Marketing warp-speed ahead. ”We wanted to help companies increase their sales revenue from online sources,” explains Nelson. “So we focused on digital marketing.”
As Nelson excelled in digital, he brought the students of SAIT Polytechnic and the University of Calgary up to speed. He continues to teach Continuing Education courses ranging from Social Media Strategies to Google Analytics while training clients through Anduro Marketing.
His half-day course ‘Making Gains with Google Analytics’ is popular among working professionals. For further information and to register, contact Jeff Nelson at Anduro Marketing: http://www.anduro.com/ or 403.703.2247.
